Re: Paving

Hi @Wy

The  best producy I know of is a polymere sand that goes between the cracks and forms a bond  between pavers resisting other dirt from entering the cracks asa place for seeds to take hold.

Fisrt pressure wash the pavers  clean especially all the crevices.

Wait till the pavers are 100% dry  them  use.

  • Suitable for joints from 2-4mm in width
  • Allow 2-3 days of drying time to form a strong bond
  • Resists weed growth and insects
  • Available in a water resistant bag
Joints between outdoor pavers are usually filled with sand which tends to wash out from the paver joints over time. Powerloc Paving Sand is a polymer-based product that prevents it from washing out or cracking. It is blended with fine sand and premium grade polymers to create a flexible and superior bond between pavers.

Spread over dry pavers and thoroughly sweep the Powerloc diagonally into the cracks with a broom. It's important to ensure there is no residual Powerloc sitting on top of the pavers. Using a tampering tool or vibrating compactor, work over the paving area to ensure the Powerloc completely fills the joints.

To lock the pavers in place and begin the setting process, mist spray the surface down with water and then let it dry. For best results when misting, use a garden pressure sprayer to ensure the flow of the water is not too harsh. A simple garden hose is not suitable as the water pressure is likely to dislodge the Powerloc from the gaps.

Re: Paving

Hi @Wy,

Some great advice there from @Jewelleryrescue. If the weeds are a persistent issue, you might like to spray the paver joints with Yates 3L Ready To Use Path Weeder, which, unlike standard herbicides, will prevent weeds for up to 12 months.

Please let u s know if you have further questions.
