How to service a petrol chainsaw?
Hi, I need to have my Ryobi petrol chainsaw serviced. I think that the carby needs an adjustment as it speeds to maximum speed soon after start up. I live Brisbane Northside. Suggestions please.

Re: How to service a petrol chainsaw?
Hi @Eddie46,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
Unless you are confident with this kind of thing, I'd suggest your best option is to contact a local mower and small engine service centre. I live on Brisbane's Southside and there are a few near me, I imagine a quick Google search would point you in the right direction.
If you were confident in your abilities, then I could help you locate the right instruction manual which will have troubleshooting information that can be used to adjust the carburettor.
Let me know what you think.
Jacob
