How to revive weaping Maple?
The pics below show before and now. The heat nocked it about and I think it has had to much water. Now only new branch growth no leaves. Is it a lost cause?

Re: My Weaping Mapple HELP!
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @BLAMEX. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about maple care.
Over the next couple of months, as a deciduous tree, your weeping maple will naturally begin losing its leaves in preparation for winter. However, since you mentioned that it was potentially scorched by heat and then received too much water, it’s possible that it’s struggling rather than just entering dormancy early.
What sort of drainage does the pot have? Does excess water freely drain out the bottom and onto the tiles beneath? Poor drainage can lead to waterlogging, which can stress the plant and cause root issues. Weeping maples like consistent moisture but don’t tolerate constantly wet soil, so it’s important to only water when the top layer of soil begins to dry out.
I’d suggest holding off on watering until necessary and applying some Seasol to help with recovery. If you notice any soft or blackened areas on the branches, it might be worth checking for signs of rot. Hopefully, with the right care, your maple will bounce back once conditions stabilise.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
