Re: How to replace damaged Colorbond fence post?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jaycollison. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing a Colorbond post.
Replacing a damaged Colorbond corner post without removing its footing is unlikely. To properly replace the post, you’ll need to break apart the existing footing, remove the damaged post, install a new one, and pour fresh concrete for a secure footing. Additionally, depending on how the two posts are connected, you may need to remove the fence panel on one or both sides to allow access and ensure the new post aligns correctly. It’s a bit of work, but it’s the best way to ensure the fence remains structurally sound.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
