My house is located on the hill. We have to go down to the back yard by using stairs(14 stairs) which is damaged.
It was used by wood and bricks(see pictures).
How can I repair them?
or Could you introduce us a repairer please?
Thanks
Jun Kim
Hello @junheekm (Jun Kim)
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's great to have you join us and thank you for sharing your question about how to fix your damaged garden stairs.
Looking at the photo you posted, I think it's time the sleepers were replaced. You can try to reformat the stairs by removing the timber sleepers using a Cyclone 1650 x 25mm Hex Fencing Bar and replacing them with new Timber Sleepers. This also becomes a good opportunity to replace any broken or loose bricks. This would be the easiest way to repair them without changing their current layout.
However, this would be a good opportunity to upgrade the look of your stairs. You can use 100 x 100mm Sawn Treated Pine - 3.0m in combination with Brighton Masonry 200 x 100 x 40mm Cream Mypave Paver to create a new look. The last option of course is to use cement with some Avista Oxide 1kg Brick Red-Cement Colouring. This would involve making formwork for the cement to sit in.
Please keep us updated with your progress, we look forward to seeing your garden stairs repaired.
