I have several fixed retic sprinklers that I want to cap off. These are the ones with micro spray heads - see photo - attached to PVC piping. How can I cap off the ends of the ones that I don't want to use anymore?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @chopper. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about capping off sprinklers.
Typically these would be installed in poly pipe and you'd remove the upright and install a plug in it's place. If they've been installed into rigid PVC pipe I am unsure as to where the plugs would work.
How rigid is the riser? A bit of a hack is to bend them over themselves and then add a clamp or tape. This crimps the riser and stops flow.
