Hello there,
I’d like some advice on growing vegetables all year round please.
I live in northern Victoria. The ‘soil’ is clay. I used to grow my vegetables in 24 large tractor tyres until I discovered that these leach toxins into the produce.
I then utilised polystyrene boxes from the supermarket. They’re light and easily lined up in my greenhouse. Yesterday a visiting Labrador destroyed every polystyrene box so I’d like to use something a little more robust.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Hi @sunnyside13,
Welcome to Workshop.
Sounds like you need to buy or build some raised garden beds for growing your vegetables. Fortunately, this is one of the most popular projects that Workshop members undertake, so you will find plenty of information and inspiration on the site.
I'd recommend you start with our Top 10 most popular raised garden beds, then check out these excellent guides by @Adam_W :
Check them out and let us know if you have any specific questions about replicating one of the projects for your own garden.
Thanks,
Jason
