Garden hose for my balcony
Hello,
I have a balcony with plants and I'd like to buy a garden hose: I'd connect one side of the hose to the faucet of my kitchen sink & drag the pipe to the balcony to deliver water.
The hose should also have a trigger sensitive enough to allow gentle delivery of water (I have very delicate plants).
The distance between kitchen and balcony is around 10 meters. I'd also like something that is compact (I live in a small apartment).
Can you indicate few items I can check out?
Thank you

Re: Garden hose for my balcony
Hi @ventodimare,
You might like to consider an Aqua System 15m Coil Garden Hose With Spray Gun or Pope 8mm x 15m Spiral Hose Set. They both feature a compact design perfect for balconies and also trigger nozzles with multi-pattern select. You can also adjust water flow for gentle delivery.
To connect the hose to a kitchen sink tap, you would need to use either a Holman 15mm Plain Tap Adaptor With Clamp or a Pope Indoor Tap Adaptor.
Please let me know if you need further help or had questions.

Re: Garden hose for my balcony
Hi Mitchell,
I bought Holman 15mm Plain Tap Adaptor With Clamp to attach the garden hose to my kitchen tap.
The adaptor doesn't seem to fit my tap as my tab diameter is 25 mm. I've tried to force it in but with no success.
I've tried to find an alternative, bigger adaptor but I cannot find anything on the website.
Am I missing something?
Thanks

Re: Garden hose for my balcony
Hello @ventodimare
Can you possibly please take a picture of your tap and post it here on workshop so we may examine it and perhaps give you a better recommendation on how to attach your hose. Ciao!
Cheers,
Red

Re: Garden hose for my balcony
Hello @ventodimare
I see the aerator is still attached to your tap. That little device attached to the end of your tap that makes the water bubbly and soft must be removed. Then you must attach the garden hose adapter in order to link your hose to your kitchen tap. I suggest this other type " Gardena Tap Adaptor " It is an easy slide on and clip and you get to keep your soft bubbly water when you are done! I have attached a picture below, when you get to Bunnings ask the plumbing specialist to show you how it is attached and what tools you might need. Once you have this on it will be so much easier! Your plants will thank you for your efforts.
Cheers,
Red

Re: Garden hose for my balcony
@ventodimare, as @redracer01 has mentioned, you will probably have more luck with the Gardena tap adaptor.
