does the Full Boar mig/arc 160 inverter welder take the Bossweld 0.9mm x 0.9kg gasless mig wire??
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @neil1829. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about the Full Boar mig/arc 160 inverter welder.
The instruction manual references the use of 0.9mm MIG wire. It can also take rolls of 1 or 5kg. So, yes, the machine can use Bossweld 0.9mm x 0.9kg gasless mig wire.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

From the actual instruction manual (page 9) for the mig/arc 160 (Full Boar), my understanding is that the flux core wire must be transferred from the small 'Bossweld' spool to the larger Full Boar spool.... or do I simply remove the large original (factory supplied) spool and replace it with the smaller spool?
Hi @neil1829,
Welders typically take a 1kg or 5kg spool. The size of the rolls are universal and in the image it's showing a 5kg spool. If the machine comes with a 5kg spool, you'd simply remove it and insert the 1kg flux core spool. No need to load it onto a larger 5kg spool.
