Hi
Have existing patio and want to enclose. So looking to build a stud wall between upright patio tubing.
The current patio tubing has been put in sand with concrete blob to anchor.
So to build the bottom part of the stud wall to anchor everything to, how do I do that with sand?
Do I need to pour a concrete base and anchor the bottom section to that?
Thanks for your help guys, muchly appreciated.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @KD72. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about creating a stud wall.
It sounds like you're on the right track. A concrete base will need to be added to connect the frame. It might only need to be 200mm wide, but it should be sufficiently deep, perhaps 300mm. This would provide a solid footer for the wall to sit on.
