A simple bench created by a D.I.Y. novice using Pine sleepers cut to size by the Bunnings team.
The project
I’ve never been a handy person, so I’m as surprised as anyone at my recent interest in woodworking. I've found that it's a great form of therapy. I kept this outdoor bench simple using a 2.4m treated Pine sleeper. A Bunnings team member cut 2 x 450mm legs and the rest would become the seat.
There are some rough bits and the joins could be better, but it’s stable and I’m really happy with my first effort. It sits out the back near our fire pit.
