A serving area created using Acacia Project Panels and a tiled splashback made this outdoor entertaining space more practical.
The project
Our outdoor entertaining space was used frequently, but I’d get out the camping tables to use as a servery.
By adding a basic frame using H3 timber, Acacia Project Panels, a tiled splashback and UN-REAL hedges, this space is now more practical and the perfect entertaining area.
We did all this for under $1000 in a couple of weekends.
Materials
- 90mm x 35mm H3 structural timber
- 3 x 2200mm x 600mm x 26mm Acacia project panels
- 30 x Decor8 decorative tiles
- Taubmans Sunproof Paint – colour: Klavier
- 2 x 1.8m x 0.9m UN-REAL expanding hedge
- James Hardie PineRidge fibre cement sheeting.

@craftyhopper I just adore the tile you chose for your outdoor area, the black really makes the greenery and the timber pop! I am truly amazed that this was under $1000 and only took a couple of weekends - well done 😎
