Plywood used to build a Montessori-inspired chair set for children.
I designed and built a couple of Montessori-inspired chairs over the weekend. The original design is based on using only one 1200 x 396 x 12mm piece of plywood.
I reduced the height of the side panels a bit later on as they felt a bit restricting, though they looked great.
A bit of sanding and a couple of coats of varnish.
Clamping before screwing all the parts together.
Initial pieces using 12mm off-cuts to space out the back and seat inside.
Final products in use. Cheers all.
