This indoor dog kennel is a stylish alternative to crates with space on top to store treats, toys and other pet supplies.
The project
Like most things I make, there were no plans for this project. Just a picture in my head. Apart from the chrome curtain rods for the bars on the front, it's all made from wood. I built a 30mm x 30mm Pine box frame and then covered with Pine panels for the roof, floor and back wall.
On either side of the front bars there's an 18mm Pine utility panel. The doors at either end are 12mm ply. It's spray painted with four coats of oil-based enamel. I put two dog beds inside and it is now a home for two dachshunds.
