Garage converted into Texas-style bar

In this creative transformation of a garage, an old workbench was retained to serve as a rustic bar.

The project

I did this project entirely solo (except for the light installation) to prove to myself that I could do it.

The bench is the original bench and vice from what was an old workshop. I used products from Bunnings to add new walls, paint them, create reclaimed-timber feature walls and acid wash and etch the floors for a rustic look.

Hello @Tazman

Let me tag @LePallet to make them aware of your kind words and observation. That makes that bar top a little bit more expensive now. I'm of two minds about whether to take the coin out and cash it in or leave it in there for posterity. Should you ever decide to duplicate that bar assembly, please make sure to post an update. I'm sure our members would be keen to see what you create.
