A stylish hat rack and simple project ideal for D.I.Y. beginners.
The project
If you're like me and you seem to collect a number of very similar looking hats, you probably need a cute hat rack.
This hat rack is made from six equal-sized pieces of timber. We used Western Red Cedar, but you might like to use something lighter in colour like Tasmanian Oak, and brass bolts with acorn nuts – the tension of the nuts is what holds it in shape.
It's a super simple project but we think it really adds to our hallway.

Hello @dupete49
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about the hat rack.
It's great that the hat rack project has inspired you to make your own. Let me tag @DIYgals to make them aware of your question. As a possible alternative, I propose using 42 x 19mm 1.8m DAR Pine Premium - 1.8m. It can be stained or painted to the colour of your choice.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
