An outdoor entertaining area refreshed using paint, new furniture, plants and wall panels.

The project

I decided to update my alfresco and decking area. I bought the Marquee Harbour outdoor loveseats, Cabot's Deck Paint, bar chairs, stick wall panels and plants from Bunnings.

I converted my red brick and Merbau decking to cooler grey tones and a relaxed atmosphere. Love my alfresco.

Overall, it took five days doing it by myself. The cleaning and repainting of the deck was easy, along with repainting the ceiling.

Putting the Harbour furniture together was simple, too. The wall panels however took the longest, as each piece was measured and cut with a Stanley knife (wish I had a tile cutter or a small circular saw).

Good Morning @NickiM

Nice upgrade! Really nice  I like the look of the "stick panels"? I dont think I have come across them before but they really cover up those brick sections. How long since you have put them up and how are they holding up to the weather?

Those cooler grey tones for the decking work also, it really chills the athmosphere down. Its the colour I am thinking of using for my patio

Nice work

Thanks @Dave-1

It was a great project. Bunnings no longer stock the Stick Panels, but you can buy them directly from the product store in multiple colour options.

After almost a year, the colour has stayed the same. While I have a cafe blinds installed, only a small portion is exposed to the wet weather. I had used water seal to ensure no water went between the panels.

So far so good.
