Dethatching a lawn with a scarifier and revitalising it with liquid fertilisers.
Like many of us, the cost of living is a hot topic, and since living in my home, I haven’t had the confidence to renovate my existing Kikuyu lawn. I didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money but I bit the bullet. Here are the results of my efforts and the items I used, all purchased from Bunnings.
Before we began, there was a deep thatch.
Best purchase ever. My Ryobi scarifier.
After the dethatching.
I invested in this spreader a few years ago. Soil soaker applied.
Great invention from Holman to apply liquid applications.
Give the lawn a health tonic. Garden Basics Seaweed Liquid.
Liquid fertiliser applied last.
How the Holman soaker works.

Good Afternoon @Grub80
hahahahah Love it!
The best photo is of you watering and what I suspect holding the camera as far as you can in the other Done that so many times!
I have looked at my tired lawn so many times and debated to bring it back, to turn it over, to grow a meadow style lawn. You have pushe dit toward sthe "bring it back" Might give it a go instead of converting the lawn
Nice job and love how you have shown what you did.
