A budget-conscious bed made using Pine, lining boards and recycled slats from an old bed.
The project
I saw a bed I liked in a furniture store but it was very expensive, so I decided to make one myself for less than a quarter of the price.
I didn't have any plans to work from. I just eyeballed it.
My objective was to be very budget-conscious so I used Pine to frame the two ends of the bed with lining boards to fill in these ends. The rails are hardwood and I used the slats from my old bed.
