A fire pit area with bench seating made from Besser blocks, pavers and timber.
This is my biggest D.I.Y. project to date. An outdoor fire pit seating area. I made it from Besser Blocks and decorative breeze blocks.
I finished off with a Spotted Gum floating bench seat, decorative rocks and stepping pavers on the ground.
The post is to hang festoon lights up from our deck to the post and then to a tree.
When a tree fell last year, the fire pit stayed relatively intact, apart from a couple of smashed breeze blocks.
Lessons learned from the project:
Experienced Workshop member Adam has shared How to build a fire pit, complete with step-by-step instructions and a full list of the tools and materials.
