What paint is safe for a baby's cot?

I’d recommend a hard-wearing finish like Dulux Super Enamel. Alternatively, Dulux Aquanamel is an option that won’t yellow as much overtime as the oil-based version.

Like most paints, these products release volatile organic compounds whilst curing, so make sure you paint the crib in a well-ventilated area.

It’s also important to remember that these products achieve their non-toxic rating after fully curing, so it’s best to paint the cot a few weeks before the baby is placed in it. - MitchellMc
