How to renovate laundry to maximise space?

Hey all

Love the forum and keen to get some ideas from the group

This is our little laundry space and keen to hear ideas about how we can remodel it to 

a) maximise space and 

b) rethink how the doors could look as it is really annoying having those sliding doors - surely there is something better out there 

If you have any dot point ideas, very keen to hear them.

Could we please trouble you for some dimensions of the area? And a wider shot showing what is to the right of these photos? 

My immediate thought was that bifold doors might be a better option so you can open up most of the workspace when using the laundry.

Hi @timln,

Taking a look at our guide on How to renovate a European-style laundry would be a great place to start. As Jason mentioned, changing the sliding doors out for bi-folds would open up the space and help avoid the annoying door shuffle.

If you can provide some measurements of the inside of the area, we can assist you with planning out a bench and upper cabinetry.
