Hey team, I'm trying to install a new shower rail and don't necessarily have to rem move the old one. The new one is a dual hand shower and rain head but where the inlet goes into the rail it won't fit as it hit the shower mixer. Is there a way around this that doesn't involve installing it diagonally? Do i need to install a lower profile shower mixer? The diverted is built into the new rail.
Hi @holmess,
Due to the nature of that rail system, I can not see any way around the issue you are experiencing. Since the rail drastically impedes the mixer I'm not sure if you'll find a low profile mixer version which will still be useable in the situation.
There are several other versions of dual hand shower and rain heads available. If you can take a measurement from the water outlet pipe on the wall to the top of the wall mixer, I can look to see if a version exists that does not have as long a rail.
