Re: how to fix this chip in my new bathroom?

Hello @Ramya1

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your vanity door.

It appears that something heavy has hit the corner of the vanity panel and has split the paint finish and dented it out of shape. My first concern is moisture contamination, I propose sealing the damaged section with Selleys 100ml White No Mould Resistant Silicone Sealant. Once the damaged is sealed, your door or panel should be able to withstand the heavy moisture generated in the bathroom. Your goal is to place some silicone on the cracked sections, please make sure not over fill it so that it does not stand out too much.

If you are after a proper repair, the entire door will need to be sanded down and the dented section sanded and reshaped. Once the damage has been repaired, it will need to be spray painted in the same colour as the other door or panel.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric

Re: how to fix this chip in my new bathroom?

Hi @Ramya1,

You might like to use services such as Hipages or Airtasker to locate a tradesperson in your area. Unfortunately, Bunnings does not have a team that repairs damage to cabinetry.

Please let me know any questions.

Mitchell
