the shelves are secured by double-sided buttons so they can’t be lifted. The shelves can’t be pulled straight out because the fully opened doors are in the way. So, how to change the shelf position?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @frankm. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about altering shelf heights.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. It seems that the only feasible way to adjust the shelf height is to temporarily remove the doors. While this might seem like an extra step, it’s actually a straightforward process. The hinges on most cabinets like this are designed to unscrew easily, and removing them shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.
Once the doors are off, you should have enough clearance to adjust the shelves by repositioning the double-sided buttons. After you’ve completed the adjustments, you can reattach the doors by screwing the hinges back into place.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
