Planning to do for Semiframeless shower wall to wall (1500mm length) in new home.
1) Is it possible to get 10mm thick toughen glass for Semiframeless shower
2) Is it good to go for 2400mm shower glass height with door. Any issues of wobbling
3) how about the above same two points for Frameless shower ?
thanks
Hello @Samara1
Thanks for sharing your question about putting in a frameless shower in your new home. There are a few options available to you, first is the Mondella 10 x 2000 x 875mm Glass Frameless Shower Panel. This will leave you with an entrance size of 675mm a bit narrow, but you won't be needing a door for this walk-in shower. Second is the Rick McLean's Bathware 1470mm Matte Black Euro Frameless Sliding Shower Screen - Front Only. This will require you to adjust the actual shower size to 1470 or you can build a small wall extension to accommodate the 30mm difference.
The third option is the Mondella 865mm Frameless Shower Panel Door Kit. But this will require you to build a 685mm false wall to cover the gap. I've placed a sample image below to give you an idea of what it might look like with a walk-in shower.
These glass doors will have a bit of movement if hit accidentally, but their fittings will keep them secure. These glass panels are limited to 2000mm in height and do not go all the way up to 2400.

sorry i forgot to mention this
my ceiling height is 2.7m and looking for a custom shower with door and 10mm thick glass with 2.4 height to match with all my doors height.
Is it ok to go for 2.4m height 10mm toughen glass door for 1.5m lenght wall to wall showers?
any issues of wobbling in door with 2.4m height please advise.
Hello @Samara1
I'm sorry but Bunnings currently does not stock 2400mm high glass shower panels.
