The toilet seat did not match the toilet and wasn’t comfortable to use it.
Hello @Soniakwok,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your toilet seat.
I'm sorry to hear that your toilet seat is not working for you. If your toilet seat is attached using a bolt and pin configuration the seat can be adjusted to line up with the toilet bowl. I have placed an image below for you to see how the toilet mounting pin moves so that you can adjust it.
Some toilet seats are smaller than the bowl itself, this is because they are designed to have a smooth exterior look. A good example would be the Mondella Rococo Rimless Back To Wall Toilet Suite see how the seat lines up with the bowl. But if you lift the cover the seat is actually slightly smaller than the bowl. You can also see a sample of this at the store in the toilet aisle.
In order to adjust your toilet seat, the fixing bolts must be loosened a bit to allow the hinges to rotate. While the hinges are loose attach your seat to the pins and wiggle the seat until it lines up with the toilet bowl. Once you have it in the position you want carefully remove the seat and tighten the hinges in their current position do not move them while you make it tight. Place the hinge cover back on and attach your seat to the hinges.
The red arrows indicate that these hinges must be loose so that you can adjust your toilet seat alignment. Once the seat is in alignment you can tighten the screws to fix them in place.
This is what it is supposed to look like when the seat is lined up.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please don't hesitate to post them.

Hi @Soniakwok,
I trust @EricL's recommendations were helpful. Did you manage to re-adjust your seat to sit more centrally on the pan? Please let us know if you are still having issues. We're here to help.
