I bought a Bellissi tile over shower tray. 1200x900. Which it measures to.
I also bought a Mondella semi flameless shower screen 900x 1200.
Which in the instructions says it is only 1160-1175 x 860- 875.
And that's what it measures.
So how is that supposed to work ?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Farian. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about installing a shower screen.
The shower screen is smaller than the base, as it's required to sit within the perimeter of the tray. Whether it's a shower base with an outer lip that the screen must sit inside or, in your case, a tile over tray slightly larger than the enclosed area, the screen is always smaller than the base. The other option is to have a built-up hob. If the screen were exactly 1200 x 900mm, it would sit on top of the tray/base's exterior lip, which would cause issues. The lip of the shower base or tray is a water stop and inhibits water from exiting the area under the screen. A water stop is required for a shower screen installation in many locations.
I trust these installation instructions and video will be helpful.
