Flatpax 300mm base cabinet

Practa white laminate benchtop

Estilo 450mm round sink

Davco white 01 grout

Tools

Jigsaw

drill

screw driver

Steps

Step 1

Sand, clean, prime with white knight laminate primer. After drying sand again with fine sand block then apply top coat, we left for 24hrs then sanded and painted again.

Step 2

We then painted the skirting and the front of the cabinets using the same steps.
my husband had all the cabinet installed then cut the benchtop to size. We installed a 25mm curtain rod across the bench from the pantry to stud in the wall. We needed to add a 600mm deep laminate panel next to the practa pantry as it is not as deep at the flatpax cabinet for a more cohesive look.

Step 3

We moved onto to tiling the backsplash with the duratile 75x300mm white ripple effect tile with the davco 01 white grout. I decided to not install the drawers on the bottom half of the pantry and instead include space for laundry baskets. We are stoked with how this turned out and can’t wait to use once the plumbing has been completed!

Re: Laundry Makover with Practa and Flatpax

Hi @sallie24,

Nice work with your new laundry.

The colour palette is clean and inviting, and the tiles add an elegant touch of depth.

It looks like a wonderful space. Congratulations on a job well done.

Thank you for sharing.

Jacob
