How to stop frameless shower water pooling on NIB?

Hi there
I have recently gotten a tiled bathroom done which has a tiled shower.
It has a frameless shower sitting on a NIB.

My problem with this is that the water pools on the NIB outside the shower frame AND it starts to drop down on to the main floor.
The frameless shower does have the silicone rubber seals and wet seals, However the NIB is just flat and doesnt slope inwards.
Could someone help with the advise or direct me to someone who can.

Re: Framless Shower and water pooling on NIB

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Dean4. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about a leaking shower.

It sounds like the issue might be with the silicone seal around the frameless shower. Even though the shower is sitting on the NIB, if water is migrating under the frame and pooling outside the shower, it suggests that the silicone seal may be compromised or there might be a gap somewhere. I would recommend removing the existing silicone and reapplying it properly to ensure a watertight seal.

If this is a recent installation, it might also be worth reaching out to the installer to see if they can inspect the issue and make any necessary adjustments. Additionally, if the NIB is flat and not sloping inwards, you might want to discuss with a professional re-sloping it to help direct water back into the shower area, though this would be a fairly involved process. Having an adequate silicone seal should prevent the issue.

Here's a helpful guide: How to apply silicone sealant.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
