How to remove spindle tap handle?

Hi Folks, 

I'm trying to remove the handle from a  Dorf spindle laundry tap. I've purchased a Kinetic Spout and Handle Repair Kit. However, I'm struggling to dislodge the handle which I sprayed with WD40.

Seeking tips and advice on which way to apply pressure to remove.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Adamg. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing a tap handle.

It's great to see that the knowledgeable @Noyade has already sorted your question. I concur that green is the correct direction, as you are actually undoing the nut on the back. Green turns the nut anti-clockwise and backs it out of the handle.
