How to remove shower slider rail?

hi all

does anyone know how to remove this shower slider rail? I assume the front of it is a cap, but I can’t seem to get it off to access the screws.

the shower holder is broken so I need to replace that part

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about removing your shower rail.

You're absolutely correct, that front cap is the key to the entire assembly. If you are not going to recycle this shower rail, I suggest using a Multigrip Pliers to hold on to the front cap and twisting it off. Once the cap is removed, you'll be able to see the screw head holding the post in place. It's probable that you'll need a Philips head screwdriver to remove the screw.
