Hi I am a regular Bunnings user/buyer online with my Bunnings account. I have a casual need for grout removal to remove a few shower wall tiles.
I have a Dep grout removal tool, however it is far too laborious to use.
I want something perhaps like the Dremel 565/566 attachment [or better] but I do not know which Dremel tool matches that attachment.
Perhaps folks can suggest some other multi purpose tool and an appropriate attachment. I did once consider an angle grinder but I am not sure that is a good idea. They a very dangerous.
Oh and I am also a retired builder/plumber in my 80s.
Thanks

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @IanPurdie. It's marvellous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing grout.
You could use the Dremel 2.4mm (9904) Tungsten Carbide Cutter with the Dremel 565/566 attachment. This attachment suits most models of Dremels tools.
The other option would be to go for a Multitool with diamond blade. This might be a better option than the Dremel as once you get the flat blade into the grout line, it will be easy to follow along it, whereas the Dremel needs to be guided free hand and might cut into the tile.
Here's a handy step-by-step guide: How to remove grout.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

UPDATE
A mate offered me his Dremel tool. I reminded myself I have always been going to buy a Dremel for the last 30+ years. So I ordered from Bunnings awhile ago my Dremel 3000-2/30 Corded Rotary Tool Kit.
Will be delivered in coming week.
Thanks for anyone interested...
Thanks Mitchell see my update.
