I would encourage you to share some photos and a simple sketch of your room with dimensions so members can see what you are working with and provide more helpful and specific assistance.

Another great resource is this discussion kicked off by @Benskimo - Laundry renovation incorporating hot water system. Ben was considering a laundry renovation around a top loader but ended up replacing it with a front loader to maximise space.

It would definitely help us if you could provide a basic sketch with measurements of your laundry area along with the location of the doors and windows. This would also be a good opportunity for you to think about the the colour of the cabinets and the type of benchtop you want to use.
