How to fix no cold water coming out of new Shaw&Mason Wels5star 6L/min SHM0206 Mixer tap?

Just installed a new Shaw&Mason mixer tap and nothing comes out of tap when in full cold position.

Not problems with hot side of things.

Old tap was no problems except it was beginning to leak after 11years - good flow of all cold and all hot.

Swap the hose connections over @Rickard and If cold water flows when the mixer is on hot and nothing on hot then sounds like a mixer fault.

I'd suggest @Nailbag's troubleshooting advice is on the money. Also, double-check that you've turned both the hot and cold isolation valves back on under the sink and that the cold flexi-hose is not kinked.
