How to fix hole at the bottom of bathroom vanity?

Hi, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to cover up this uneven hole at the bottom of our vanity. Our plumber had to make a bigger hole as the existing hole was not in the correct spot for the drain pipe to go through. Thanks

Hello @Jleigh

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your vanity.

I've run into this situation before where I was sure that I was drilling into the correct area of the vanity. Luckily my wife is very forgiving and takes every opportunity to remind me of this error. I suggest using the Kinetic 295 x 210mm White Flat Self-Adhesive Cover Plate to cover the other holes drilled into the vanity.

I suggest using a compass to draw a 42mm diameter circle where the drainpipe will be positioned. Cut the circle out with a craft knife and then cut a single center line going to the circle where you can slip the 40mm drainpipe in, you can then paste in place.

If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Eric
