How to easy fix this crack?
It's sharp and cuts the kiddos fingers
Hello @nicole1993
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's fabulous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your vanity top.
Before I make any recommendations, would it be possible for you to tell us if your vanity top is ceramic or acrylic based? Can you also please post a photo of the entire vanity top with the cabinet included? This will allow our members to assess its condition. We can then make recommendations on how to proceed. Generally speaking, repairing a ceramic top is possible, but ongoing use and stress will aggravate the damage that is already there. It will eventually crack further and the vanity top will become unstable.
The same scenario will happen to the acrylic vanity top, although it will take longer, the repair job will be noticeable and daily use will lead to further damage. The sharp edges on the cracked edge can be sanded down but the drawback is that the ceramic coating will get taken off.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
