I am about to retile an old shower and the old floor drain will be too low for the new tiles once the old mosaics are removed. The substrate is concrete. Is there a product which will push into the old drain pipework once the grate is removed to increase the height and not have to cut out the old shower outlet?
Hi @pwmonger1
There are drain extentions made for you purpose with different height of extentions , an example of one of them is as follows

Have fun just check your drains diameter for good fits.
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, @pwmonger1. We're thrilled to have you join our community and look forward to seeing and assisting you with your home improvement and garden projects.
Great to see you've received advice from @Jewelleryrescue on extending the height of your shower drain. Our resident Bunnings D.I.Y. expert @EricL will also be online later today and happy to assist.
Can I please request you to provide some photos of your shower area and the drain? This will help our members get a better idea of what you're dealing with and enable them to provide more tailored advice suited for your needs.
Let me know if you need a hand uploading images on the site.
Thanks,

Hello @pwmonger1
Just to add to the suggestions made, I recommend having a look at the PVC Slab Adaptor. These PVC couplers are meant to slide into existing pipework concreted into place. It can be cut down and adjusted which will allow you to slide in a new floor waste.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
