How can I get these shower taps off?

The bonnet can turn enough to leave approx 8 mm of spindle showing. I have included a photo 

to show the tap handles. Does Bunnings sell replacements for these?

Thanks Eric, does the silicon also prevent water from getting behind tiles and ruining the studwork etc?

Hi @tigerzen 

Yes, it prevents water from entering the stud wall. If you decide to put more silicone on the bonnet, just make sure that it covers the top portion very well so that no water enters the gap between the bonnet and the tile wall.
