The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
Our laundry was pretty basic with just a standard trough and no storage. We wanted to make it more practical but had a very small budget.
So we went to Bunnings and bought a large bench top, new sink, 2x cupboards and some beautiful tiles.
It took us less than a day to put it all together, and the best part was it only cost us around $500 all up!

@jane_5 we bought 2 base cabinets @$99 each, a bench top for $99, cut a whole in it for the new sink which was $110 and we spent $50 on wall tiles. We didn’t move any taps or PowerPoints (they are behind the shelving unit) so that saved us money, and we did everything ourselves, just watched heaps of YouTube & Bunnings videos 👍🏻
@springa59 we got rid of the existing trough, we bought a new benchtop and a new sink. We cut the whole in the benchtop ourselves to put the sink in 😊
This is very similar to what I need to do with my laundry! I have only a freestanding trough and NO cupboards or benchtop. Looks great

Thanks @Jason . This would be my first reno project EVER! Thought start small and simple! My next bigger project after this will be a small ensuite reno.
I will upload some photos once I start working on the project. I have got lots of great ideas on here already
Fantastic. Feel free to hit the Start a discussion button anytime @Sarahb . You might like to share some "before" photos, some measurements and your plans. I'm sure our members could provide some helpful input.

That is looking stunning. I am also planning to get it done as you did.
It is the best I have seen so far.
