I'm wanting to replace the exterior sliding door and wall with a window the same as rest of house.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @SherGyver. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing a door.
To convert your sliding door into a window, you’ll first need to remove the existing door and its frame entirely. Once that’s out, the lower portion of the opening where the door used to be will need to be framed up using structural timber to match the wall height. On the exterior, that new section can be clad in weatherboards or the same material used on the rest of your home to keep things consistent. Inside, you’ll want to line the wall with plasterboard, tape and set the joints, and prepare it for painting.
You can then install a new sliding window in the upper half of the opening—ideally something that matches the style and size of your existing windows. Finally, finish it off with trim and architraves inside and out to blend everything in. It’s a fair bit of work, but achievable if you’re confident with framing and finishing.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
